After a tough year for the Events Industry and the associated event support service providers, Onsite Communication are finally back to work, setting up a court-side PA system and two-way radio communication network, at our first event of the 2021 event season.
The Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas is the World Cup of women’s tennis and with more than 100 countries involved, it's the largest annual international team competition in women’s sport.
This weekend (April 16-17) Great Britain take on Mexico on the indoor courts of the National Tennis Centre in London.
Our Onsite engineer Patrick has spent the run up to the event installing top of the range Bose speakers for the court PA system, which is used by the competition umpires. Our PA system is also inferfaced with the courts Hawkeye Line Call system that is being used at this event, instead of Line Judges.
We have also supplied and installed the event Media Centre with and an audio system that allows media interviews to be conducted over video calls.
