Onsite Provide Audio Systems For Tempsford Memorial Service

Onsite Communications supply audio equipment and engineering support at a special service to honour 75 World War Two women agents who helped resistance movements in occupied Europe.

Onsite Communications were asked to supply audio equipment and engineering support at a special service for a local village trust, who had raised money to build a monument in their Village to honour 75 World War Two women agents who helped resistance movements in occupied Europe.

The church service in Tempsford, attended by Prince Charles and invited guests only was rebroadcast to many interested members of the public listening outside who had turned out to pay their respects. Additional audio feeds from the service were provided to local media along with national TV and Radio.

Later Prince Charles unveiled the monument which included a mosaic designed by Villager and retired surgeon Tazi Husain. Professor Husain said: "I'd been thinking for some time it was a great shame we didn't have more in our village about what happened at the wartime airfield”. 80 villagers had helped put the mosaic together and he pointed out that "The last piece was reserved for the prince, who put it in after he unveiled the monument."

Afterwards trust member Steve Cooney said “The day went off brilliantly and the trust was extremely happy with your sound system”.
